#505 Jiayi's 18 Celebration

Oh my goodness, nearly died while uploading 100+ photos haha.

Celebrated Jiayi's 18 on 19 Jan, one day before her actual birthday, at a restaurant call Garuda, some where near Raffles Place. It is a Peranakan/Indonesia restaurant and the food they served were really good.

In Indonesia, some of the places you go to will serve food this way: they will put a portion of everything they have on your table and charge you according to how much you eat. Best way to avoid any kind of conflict will be to make up your mind asap and return whatever food you doubt you will be eating back to the owner. Then when you end your meal, they will charge you accordingly. Like if the plate had 2 pieces of chicken but you ate 1, then they will charge you the price of 1 chicken.

Because this is a a la carte style of buffet, we could eat everything we want ! And of course we could ask for more servings. The food were really good, especially their beef rendang. I'm not a fan of beef but their beef were cooked just nice and it was really tender.

The board you see above is one part of the present haha. This year everybody's gonna get nice stuff cause we are turning 18 after all haha !~

Eggplant ! Only Jiayi, Joshua and I could eat this lol. We had 3 tables and the other 2 tables just passed this dish to us lol.

Beef rendang

Ayam (chicken). I was disappointed with this cause the piece I ate was damn hard ! But Joshua, Jiayi and Shengyang were telling me it tasted really good so I guess it was just me !

#504 Lifespan Psychology Presentation 2

Was divided into groups by Joe and the rest and we were suppose to make a tower out of it ! Ours was pretty cool cause it was really stable and it was the only one which lasted haha !Razeenah and Darren's group lifespan presentations the other day. Joe's group presentation was mad fun as usual. When there is a Joe around, there will be no such thing as boredom. Add on a Shiyong into that group, humor level x3858948 max hahaha.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Chinese New Year so far, or at least the first 2 days of the new year. I knew I enjoyed mine. Just got back from Indonesia and it was fun celebrating with my cousins. Gambled like mad I swear, probably the first time in a really really long while since I last gambled. Being some stupid kid, I totally have no idea how to play cards but this time round I managed to grasp the concept of poker quite fast !!! Won quite a bit but I gave everything to my parents cause it is in rupiah ! HAHAHA

Alright, many posts coming up. Got lots of pictures to upload heh. Anyway speech comm reflection is probably the last group assignment due. After that it will just be individual assignments and exams FYEAH. Cant wait for sem2 to be over. Pali pali ~

#502 The Grasshopper Song

Probably my favourite song for the month of January. The Grasshopper Song, by Sunny Hill.

The MV was created out from the concept of The Ant and the Grasshopper, from Aesop Fables, just that they interpreted it differently. I think it was supposed to be a story where the grasshopper changed for the better and become more hardworking but the MV made a twist and all the ants became lazy and party like the grasshopper instead.

Initially when you listen to this song, you get the upbeat tempo and would like to dance to it but the more you listen to it, the song just had a slow transition to a sad song. I have no idea how to explain this but it was just what I felt. The first day it was released, I listened to it for the whole day, and all I wanted to do was dance to it. However, the next day where I played it, I just felt morose.

Try listening to it via headphones. The sound travels from one ear to another at the start of the song, providing an all together different feeling.

Really great song. Sunny Hill and Brown Eyed Girls are probably the only two groups with meaningful MVs. Its like, there is an hidden story to it and you must interpret it further to realize what the whole MV is about.

#501 Lifespan Psychology Presentation

Lifespan Psychology presentation on Wednesday and this was probably the presentation that got me the most excited. Group mates and I planned pretty hard for this workshop and we even went all the way as to dress up to prepare for this workshop. Topic was on Peer Influence on Youth, so we decided to target secondary school kids and everyone except me wore their school uniforms ! The teacher you see there is Mr Tan, also my favourite teacher. He is pretty much like Ms Hong, just take away the sarcasm. He is really serious when teaching his students.

Gracie was the nerd, Siew Huey was the model student, Nadhirah was the rebellious one, Melissa was the teacher's pet, Meishi was the ah lian, and I was the CCA orientated one. Sounds familiar ? Well, that's because these are people you will meet in school heh.

Super Joe has something in mind to punish those who littered ...

XIANG LONG SHI BA ZHANG !!!!!!!!!!!! His qi gong blew all of them away haha !

Really glad that everything went well. TYK was quite satisfied with our workshop ? And I think my group did really well, and not being anal, but our group video was seriously fantastic. Nadhirah's editing skills were just brilliant. Her editing skills were so good, you were practically go ..

Next week will pretty much be an hectic week again. Speech Comm and Social Psych presentation. Really crossing my fingers for stats presentation cause something cocked up :/ Well, the end of the finishing line for this semester is almost seen, and we just have to last for awhile more guys !Yes guys, we are that close to the end of this semester. (Gracie's favourite line nowadays ha) FIGHTING !

#500 Long Lasting Friendship

Met up with my primary school friends a few days ago and we chilled over a short dinner as all of us were so busy with school. Gina has lots of projects to do and Bryan, that smart ass kid, has lot of homework to do now that he is in J2 and congratulations to that boy for successfully taking H3 Chemistry ! Nothing is impossible for him haha.

Took lots of polaroids as usual, as it is our routine to take polaroid whenever we meet. Amazingly, the day I met up with Gina was also the day where we knew each other for 11 years and 11 days. Jealous much ? Heh.

This is my 500 posts as well and my blogging life has been amazing. Have been blogging since 2005, and my first blog was deleted because seriously, I was young and immature back then and my English was pretty much atrocious and I am embarrassed of that. This would be my 3rd blog, as my 2nd blog was the one at livejournal and the only reason why I am not there is because I could only upload one picture at a time which gets really frustrating if you have like 100 pictures to upload haha.

On a side note, I still feel a lil upset that I have quitted frisbee. Gina, Bryan and I were all initially in frisbee (just that in different school; Bryan is in HCI) but now he is the only one in frisbee. And for my frisbee clique, I was sort of the "longest survivor" among those poly kids but I still quitted in the end. I had wanted frisbee to be my CCA throughout my 3 years in poly but it failed to happen. Still a lil upset over it but oh well, life goes on.

Parrot and cockatoos I saw this morning while I was in the market. The parrot could say,"How are you" and whenever it was about to say it, it would suck in lots of air and literally spew the words out. Whereas for one of the cockatoo, it would scream,"PAPA PAPA" when it's owner was coming. Really cool birds, it made me want to go to the Jurong Bird Park for some shoots heh.

And really, I love love love birds a lot, well, maybe except for crows but I am fine with them if they aint near me. Ahhh, really have to go to the bird park after exams/YEP !!

Its 2012 and this is the first time I didnt create any resolution for this year. Well, I just want to be happy for this year, that is all, so I guess I did made a resolution ? I'm writing in a cryptic way now aint I haha.

Class BBQ on 30 Dec 2011 at Darren's as we countdowned to countdown haha. Just a day where we chilled out and eat and gambled and it was pretty fun nevertheless.

Gift exchange at the end of the night and I got Khairi's present ! 3 boxes worth of plasters ! I was mad happy with my present cause people who had seen me in my slippers would have noticed that the back of my ankle has like a thousand and one scars. Nobody can be more pro than me honestly, I can even get blisters from slippers and sports shoes so the boxes of plasters were really practical but of course, its still the thought that counted !

Hotel stay at MBS recently and they upgraded a lot from last year haha. When I stayed there last year, you had to pay for the wifi -_- but you dont have to pay for it anymore this time round ! Hoho. The entire hotel building has free wifi fyeah. Even though the Shoppes doesnt have free wifi, boy, am I thankful for it. Imagine if they have free wifi there ... I wouldnt be concentrating in work anymore lol.

I actually saw Louis while my mum and I were walking around The Shoppes and it was nice meeting my favourite lecturer from sem 1 again. My mum and him chatted pretty well and I was just being me, awkward. But I am awkward everywhere so whats new. And my mum agrees that Louis is handsome haha !

#490 Macau, ZhuHai holiday trip

Went to Macau on the 17 and was back on the 22. Always love a getaway from Singapore but I didnt really enjoy this trip that much. Shopping trip totally suck and I only got a bag from this entire trip cause what shops were selling were like thick furry coats and there is no point in getting them since I wont have any chance to wear them in Singapore.

Was at Macau and Zhu Hai (one part of China) and honestly, I am scarred for a few years and will seriously wish that the next few trips I go wont be at China. Queueing up at the custom is a god damn 2.5 hours and imagine how much shopping could be done with these 2.5 hours. People wise, well, lets just say I met all the black sheeps. People were cutting my queue and pushing me around and I actually flared up quite a couple of times. I am proud to say though, that actually pissed them off enough to not cut my queue. So apparently my death glare finally had it use hah.

Day 1
Galaxy, Macau's new hotel. I love the building as it had such an Aladdin theme. If only MBS looked something like that. But oh, in Macau there is a casino building that looked exactly like MBS just that its the smaller version haha Day 2
The artificial sky at Venetian. Pretty aint it.Some souviniers shop selling nougats, eggtarts, etc that was so rampant in Macau. In one street alone, there were like 6 shops of this, located few shops away from each other.Hong Jie haha ! We actually took the same flight from Singapore to Macau and we met again on Day 2. Cool isnt it. I been through so much just to help my dad take this shot ha. Had to push my way through even though I was just at the shop opposite. Seriously, I hate crowds and it doesnt help when people there are so rude.

The best best best oysters I had ever tasted. The pictures dont do it justice as the taste of it is just heavenly and indescribable. It didnt have those fishy fishy smell that seafood in Singapore has and oyster is so fat and succelent. The minute you bite on the oyster, its juice explodes in your mouth and it really really taste fantastic. The garnishes were garlic, chilli and some vegetable and I hate garlic but it tasted so good when eaten with the oyster. My dad and I were lamenting that we only ate a few of it.Day 3 I am smiling in the photo but dammit I could probably shit in pants then while I was sitting on the "cable car" thingy. My fear of heights is that bad :/Only camwhore pic of the whole journey. #dealwithitDay 4
Day 5

White chocolate maltesers which cant be found in Singapore ! :( It tasted so good ~
(okay there are so little day 4 and 5 pictures because I am too lazy to rotate my pictures as well as there is no point in showing my meagre readers what I had done in Macau right ? Haha)

Though I didnt enjoy this trip as much as I did for Taiwan, but I am still thankful for this trip. As long as its time spent with my family it will be great, and a trip out of Singapore is even better.

I intend to treat my family to a holiday trip next year haha. No, not crazy, since I work, but that means massive savings and some planning to do now. Thailand ? Indonesia ? Malaysia ? Somewhere cheap and affordable for me to save up within 6 months. Any suggestion ?

Met up with two different groups of people today. Though it was a really short meet with the two groups of people, it was still an enjoyable time with them nevertheless. Met up with NPCC clique for lunch and Crystal for dinner. Havent met them for almost a year (okay, fine, half a year) so it felt really really good to see them again. <3 Over exposed film but whatever, it made it seem as if the shelter is glittering. Xiang dang nian, 2008, was in campcraft comp and a few others and I would made this shelter. Miss those days :/

Went out for dinner with my two girls today and oh my god, we literally gorge ourselves out at Sakae (thats right, my face in those photos are 2x my normal face shape, normally very slim one, yea JOKE) but it was good uh. Havent been to a buffet for a long time and the past few weeks had been so draining, I figure it would probably be alright to gorge for a bit haha.

#484 TVXQ Fan Party on 4 Dec

4 December will probably be one of the best night of my life. Went to TVXQ Fan Party with Cassies I know and I bet every single Cassie had an awesome night there. The energy that HoMin had on the stage was just ... overwhelming. They are really Gods of the East for a reason.

Event was held in Singapore Indoor Stadium and well when I went in I was so god damn thankful for my seats cause I was freaking near to the stage. But the atmosphere was clearly wrong because god dammit, they were playing SNSD songs on TVXQ concert like dafuq bro ? SNSD concerts are next week and it was just plain anal.

Well, videos were first played and HoMin came out of stage and their performances were really powerful. They did not perform for the sake of performing but they performed because they enjoyed it and the fan chants that Cassies gave was just plain daebak. And I am really proud to declare myself a Cassie. The red ocean that we had was small but everyone was waving their light sticks enthusiatically and we didnt scream when they performed. I am so glad Cassies know our manners really.

Then there was some Q&A session between HoMin and DJ Tong or something. This DJ was good and he had a really pleasant voice. HoMin were really polite and Leader Jung was soooooooo sweet to his fans while ChangMean was just being cheeky hehe. AND CHANGMIN KEPT LOOKING AT HIS RIGHT, WHERE ME AND MY FRIENDS WERE SEATED AT. He looked into my camera a couple of times, as seen from the fancams I took as well as pitures. Well the Cassies at my side were probably being all delusional and imagining that Changmin was looking at us haha. Wanyu could think that it was her special lightstick that caught his attention, Cassie behind me could think that it was her cause of her big LED light board, I could think that it was me cause I had this mega big ass camera. Whatever it is, I am just so glad to have seen them. ^^v

But the fanvids probably stole the limelight even away from HoMin's performances. 2 fanvids were shown and man, I cried during the fanvids, and so did many Cassies. I felt the fanvid to Changmin was the most touching and even though those fanvids were just animations ... You could felt the love and tears that fans had given to them.

They performed How Can I, Keep Your Head Down, Mirotic, Rising Sun, Maximum and Before You Go. The fan party was honestly too short as videos were shown most of the time !!!!

Even though I havent been a Cassie/kpop fan for long, but anyone with eyes could see the effort DB5K put into their performances. They dont sing and dance cause they are forced to. Not only that, they are so god damn talented to be able to sing and dance at the same time. Yes, many idol groups could do that nowadays but none of them could do it as well as them. Dong Bang Shin Ki did not get into the Guiness World Record for having the most fans for nothing.

RED Camp Day 1 happened yesterday and most of us volunteered to help out woo hoo. We repeated what we did many times but each group of students were different. Although it was tiring, it was still nice to see students fresh out from secondary school; it reminded me that I was once happy like them too.

Embarrassed ourselves at Bishan but the Citibank people were really nice and friendly and they helped us to take photos heh.Oh my god I really liked this photo hahaha. Darren and I didnt even plan to do the same facial expression then when the photo came out only Junwen looked different haha. Our ugliness accentuated her beauty hehe. I swear this is the cutest photo of the year.

Alright, e-learning assignments are waiting for me now. Just got back my first assignment grade and I am feeling immune to it already. Thats a bad sign actually, but I have lost all my motivation and my love for winning. I need that back, badly.

Honestly, 2011 is a messed up year. But still, I am going to last through it, painfully. I hope things will change for the better.

Siew Huey's birthday celebration in SocPsych class. Aww. I guess its the first time birthday babies whose birthdays are on November/December can finally celebrate their birthdays in school (I dont know why, but this sentence sounds incoherent). Well, many more celebrations to come for T01 haha.

AND I HATE MY ATTENTION SPAN SO BADLY NOWADAYS :( 1 minute of doing essay, and half an hour of twitting/tumblr-ing. Seriously, I am screwed for this semester I think. I should die in my sleep now, like what Dao Qin says, at least I get to die prettily.

Received this planner from Fengling today as she made a trip down Ngee Ann. Prior to that, she went to SP. Aiyah someone finish OP then act like free girl travelled around Polys uh keke.

Being the sweet girl as she is, she made these scheldue books for us. I opened it and instantly went,"OMG. AWWW !" Seriously the scheldue she made contained so much of her effort and you really felt the love (aww) in it. She didnt made just one book, but she made quite a few for others and imagined the time she spent on it. And the money too. Now I wanna give her a hug so badly.

Some pictures of how the book looks like ! This is the best scheldue book ever, and its so unique. Its 8408539184- times better than Art Box scheldues. But now it made me unwilling to use the book cause my ugly handwritings will ruin it :(

Celebrated Clements's super duper belated birthday as well as Fengling and Kahean's early birthday. For a change, we used cupcakes instead of cakes to celebrate heh. And me, being the crazy girl, dragged my friends to MBS even though I wasnt working today. Aww but I love the night scenes of MBS heh.

11-11-11 11.11 was spent with them heh. Company was awesome as usual. The next time we meet ... well, it will probably be a trip down to Sentosa but as of 2012, I dont think we will have much chances to meet anymore. All the JC peeps will be mugging their asses away for A level and Poly Year 2 is definitely going to be busy too.

Finally some updates and photos of my life. These photos were taken last Monday, and it was one of the slackiest day of my working life haha, and thats why Jasmine and I had chances to take photos. Usual day at work will be the go-home-and-just-wish-you-die days. Life as a waitress is bad okay, you got to take shit not only from your captains but as well as the customers.

TRAUMATISING PIECE OF SHIT. THIS THING GOT ME INTO TROUBLE ONCE, AND I NEARLY GOT INTO TROUBLE DUE TO THIS THING AGAIN ON MONDAY. FML, NEVER EVER GOING TO PUSH THIS THING AGAIN.

School has been #@$#^%*^&(*)(#%$^(). Seriously, assignments and projects datelines are all clumped up together. Everyday at night before I go to sleep, I will always hope I will wake up to 27 Feb, when officially semester 2 will end.

IP has been a bitch, but I think I have been bitchier to my IP group. I kind of feel like I am making life difficult for my group mates. Le Sigh. I feel really bad sometimes but everytime I am in school I get so frustrated and angsty, like I just want to kill the whole world. Then 10 minutes after I spoke something, I would then finally reflect and feel badass bad about what I had done.

Gonna treat my project mates nicer :( On a sidenote, everybody is feeling so excited over 11-11-11. Well, I am spending this day with my awesome clique, and it doesnt matter when I spend it with them, because every meet ups are just so perfect.

I will be sharing some songs with my meagre readers today. Yes, there will be kpop, but there will be jpop and indie too. If you dont like all three genres ... well, you can skip this post, but no harm trying out the songs haha.

Beautiful World - Utada Hikaru

Wow, this song has been through a lot with me. I heard this song through an advertisement for Evangelion 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone in 2008, and wow, it has still been my favourite song of all time. This song just speaks so much to me. Utada Hikaru herself is one of the Jpop queen of all times, and it sucks so bad that she went on a hiatus now. Just listened to this song by her, give it a try.

Tomorrow - Tablo ft Taeyang

I just heard this song today, but let me tell you, it just friggin blow me away. Taeyang always has a great vocal, and I like raps that are not too rappy (I think you get what I mean) and Tablo's rap is good. There is no more tomorrow if you dont listen to this song, trust me. This song is porn.

Cleansing Cream - Brown Eyed Girls

Pardon me, but this is a fucking good MV. You got to give it to the BEG. They are known for ditzy electric pop music, and after 60+ months, they comeback with a ballad and holy fuck, it was good. The thing is LOENT knows how to make musics, and they know how to make good MV.

I will explain my interpretations of this MV. The younger girl is mentally retarded, but yet she loves her sister a lot. She may be learning the sense of touch as she goes around touching things. In the bed scene, she is seen at first by hugging her older sister, which shows her love for her. Then she went onto touching her sister's boyfriend, and it is because she wishes to know how a man feels like. However, her sister misinterpreted it and began to grow jealous. The younger girl went to smell the man's clothes because she wishes to know how a man smells like, but yet at the same time, she is caressing her sister's clothes, because she idolizes her sister for who she is.

The younger girl then went on to experiment make up, probably because she saw her sister using it and realized that she got prettier after she used make up. In an attempt to look pretty, she messed up, because she is partially blind. Her older sister dragged her to the bathroom, probably with the thought of killing her sister for hitting on her boyfriend, but her main intention was to erase the make up from her, in order to restore her sister's innocence. However, she realized how stupid she is to mistreat her sister and slumped down, depressed, and having no idea what to do.

This MV is a classic. If you are interested in more BEG, you can listen to Sixth Senese, the promoted track before this, or Abracadabra, the song that got them viral.

England - The National

How can a music be so morose and melancholy at the same time, I have no idea. The National is coming to Singapore on 6 November .. Hope you guys come back to the Sunny Island soon so that I will have a chance to listen to you guys perform !

No Sacrifice - Uh Huh Her

A totally underrated duo. The previous UHH songs were more .. static I would say, however in their new album, you hear more of their vocals and fans like me just get so disappointed because they receive so little love from the world. This is my favourite song from their new album, Black and Blue, and it kind of reminds me of a song from Linkin Park. Either way, I hope UHH receives more love !

Ever since I was 9ish, I fell in love with this thing call books.

Then when I was 13, I realized that books are something that I want in my life for as long as I live. That was when I found out this thing call Literature.

16, I did myself proud.

Then during the span of time when I wasnt studying between post O level period to pre Poly period, I lost that drive. I stopped reading. All day long, I choose to sit in front of the computer, wasting my life away, infringing priracy rights, and my books will just sit at one corner, untouched.

You want to know the truth ? Ever since I graduated from Peirce, I havent felt the same. It felt as if one part of me was tore forcefully apart from me. I dont make friends so easily anymore, I choose to work rather than attending class gatherings, I choose to shop like crazy when in the past I used to save up everything.

Things dont last forever but come on, the changes in me are extreme. I dont like who I am right now, but I have lost that motivation in me to change back into the previous Ivy. In the past, I was glad to attend school everyday, do all my homework, enjoy Maths lessons even though it was a horror to me. Right now in Poly, I dread going to school, I just want to get through school everyday without talking, and I dont give in my best when I do my assignments/projects.

I'm getting all emotional but this is the only place where I can honestly speak of the identity crisis that is happening to me. Another change in me that I noticed was that I became rude. Before poly started and I was polite to everyone at work, even if they were offensive and made me do everything. Then during the holidays when I went back to work, I literally snarled at people when they became rude to me. Maybe I am finally retaliating, but this isnt me. I am those kind who are alright if you dont take things to far.

I dont know what is going on right now really. I am so tempted to highlight this entire chunk of nonsense I have wrote and press the backspace button. But I guess I should just post it out. No harm doing so right ?

#470 Happy Birthday Mum

Went to celebrate Mum's birthday at this restaurant yesterday. It was a crab buffet and everyone in my family likes eating crabs except me lol. I find it so troublesome to eat this one thing so I choose not to eat it if I feel too lazy. But oh well, my dad was cracking the crabs for my sis and I to eat so of course I ate it haha.

A relatively good restaurant. They offer fresh seafoods, and they have different cooking styles of crabs. But in my opinion, the selection of raw sashimi was too little (only 2 choices) and their sushi aint that nice. Overall, still a restaurant worth going to. Its located at Carlton hotel or something, near City Hall/Bugis.

I must eat salad everywhere I go haha. Me and my salad craze. But I made this myself hoho.

The fresh mussels ! It tasted really good and fresh.

Went for miss A showcase that happened a week back or so. Been working hard thus this blog has been severly neglected, but the truth is, nothing is going on in my life now. My life right now: work, eat, sleep. It has become a routine and I foresee it to be like that till the day I die.

miss A's showcase was a tad short I feel, but I paid only 15 bucks for it so I have nothing to complain. Their fanservices were awesome too and I would have liked to be one of the lucky few who could went up on the stage and play games with them.

My bias from miss A is actually Jia, but the camera man kept focusing on Suzy so most of my photos are Suzy. And the same emotion was aroused in me like during the time in SHINee World Concert; my camera lens. I really really need to get a better lens if not I will just be snapping photos from the screen. Really, whats the point. Thus, I promise (myself) that I will get a good lens before HoMin/Super Junior come. These 2 groups are my ultimate bias and if I dont get good shots ... I may as well not go for the concert right ?

Fans celebrated Suzy's birthday with this cake worth 2k. Tell me what is air.

Right now, my biggest Kpop challenge will be resisting to go for 2PM/SNSD concerts because I have to save up for HoMin and Super Junior showcase. I foresee myself going for all days of the concerts if they are having performances for more than 1 day. Sigh, more plates for me to carry then.

I will be going for miss A showcase !!!!

Okay this was an extremely last minute thing. Alpha Entertainment released Cat D tickets a few days ago and they were selling it at Scape and a friend of mine called me up instantly and asked if I want to go or not. It costs only 15 bucks but the downside is that it has restricted view but whatever dude ! Its only 15 bucks ! I go there take photos of the screen also shiok ! Excited much now !!!! I plan to go for as many Kpop concerts/showcase as long as my pocket allows it !

TCP Camp. 12-14 Sept

I am not supposed to say anything about the camp as we were supposed to keep all the other campers in suspenese ^^ It was a really impactful camp. Made tons of new friends and discovered new stuff about myself.

For example, I am a high C. C for careful. There are 4 kinds of people; D, I, S, C. I am particularly low in I, and I am a high CS. C people tend to overthink things, keep to themselves, doesnt talk much. Initially I was skeptical of these stuff but Eddie's opening speech of high C people made me believe this DISC thing whole heartedly; he mentioned that high C people, when in a crowded lift, would look at the limited capacity and maximum weight the lift can handle. Then immediately, they would do a mental head count of the people in the lift. I mean wth, this is so true. I do this ALL THE TIME (in a crowded lift of course).

The camp was indeed an impactful one. Though I have to apologize to my group mates and Marian for being too quiet :/ I feel that if I had opened up more, I could discover myself even more.

Team Mexico ! Awesome peeps. Thank you Marian for being such a great mentor, and of course, Joey, Kim Ying, Yvette, Poh Hian, Denise, Jin Yi, Hazirah, Laureen and Jiamin for being such awesome group mates (:Sweet Marian. The first person from Mexico I seen ! Isnt she pretty !

#464 SHINee World Concert on 10 Sept

The first kpop boy group that I liked came to Singapore on 10 September and of course I have to buy the ticket and support my boys ! Went with Kah Ean for this concert (as usual) and let just say I had a blast ! Initially, I wasnt too excited about it cause I was so tired after a whole week of work but the minute I stepped into the Indoor Stadium, I WAS LIKE ASHFJEMKORJKAPOKDWEJE, or in English term, euphoric !

Onew and Taemin seem sick and Jonghyun's vocal in real life is absolutely daebak. Key was a himbo as ever and man, I got to admit this, after SWC, I kind of like Minho. Friends of mine would know how much I detest him due to his hyung whoring, but after the concert, I cant help but fall for his charm. Firstly, he is very good looking in real life. Secondly, HE HAS NICE HOT CHOCOLATE ABS. Thirdly, he was the only one who was honestly enthu in the concert which gave me a feeling that he genuinely gave his best in everything he does.

Pictures will do the rest of the talking. I feel like killing myself honestly. Even though I got the best ticket, my pictures are like crap cause my camera zoom sucks. I really got to buy a better lens now. Oh well, let me save up first then.

A Shawol living in the SHINee world ! ^_^ I really hope Super Junior will put Singapore as one of their destination for SS4 and HoMin/JYJ can come too ! Oh, please let 2AM and Brown Eyed Girls come to Singapore too ! I went to watch 2AM 3D in the cinema recently and their ballads are just so soothing. Kpop jjang !

So I gave you guys a prompt before hand. This post will be about Kpop. Skip this post, my loyal readers, if you guys are not into Kpop.

They say a picture speaks a thousand words. Well, I can write over a thousand words of how sad I am right now.

Kim Heechul, the boss, the one with the swagger, the one who is able to do anything he wants without giving a damn, the one who likes Sohee. You are not on my top few bias list, but you were my first SJ bias. I will wait for you till you come out of army ... At the rate people are crying, it seems more like you are going to jail haha. But ELF will wait for you.

Seeing Leeteuk's cry made me broke down. This leader, the one who cares for all, had gone through too much. He will be the next to go for army, and I dont know what will happen to me when he enters army. Watching the Mr Simple performance, you would have realized Leeteuk and Kyuhyun cried before the performance. I dont want to see my boys cry, but their cries showed the strong brotherly bonds they have.

Want to know why I am so passionate about kpop even though I just started liking kpop this year ? Well, I realized the hardwork they put in, and it dawned on me that they had to put in so much effort just to entertain us. Sure, they are doing it for a living, but they dont have to live with the shit trollers give them. Haters gonna hate, yes I know that, but they make life difficult for these people even though they are just performing for their fans.

Kyuhyun was obviously sick during this performance, and yet he still gave it his all. Did he gave any excuses like,"I am sick, I cant do it" NO. And worst thing is, he still thought that he had not given his best and he was obviously pissed with himself. Look at the 200% effort these idols give in, just to please their audiences. Who the hell are we to hate them ?

Whats more, I really really hate it when fan from different fandoms bash each other. Seriously, gtfo people. Everyone just want to be mesmerized by their idols, listen to their songs, buy their products, why make life difficult for one another ? Fan wars need to be stop seriously.

I can go on and on but I have gotten my point across. I understand people may dislike kpop cause apparently its gay and such, but leave the rest who likes kpop alone. Thanks.

My life doesnt have much fun at the moment. Exams are coming in less than 15 days and I have yet to study for anything. I miss O level days. True, there was a lot of mugging, but I enjoyed it. Stupid study trips which turned into gossiping session with clique, having mass food eating instead of study session ... Those were the days. My favourite study area was AMK Mac drive through I remember. I dont know why I liked to study there actually. I still do actually.

After exams ... Well, my life will probably go back to the days during post O level period. WORKING !!!! I need money so badly now, considering the fact that I have officially turned into a Kpop fangirl and I have been spending every single cent I have. Days where I get pissed over my finacial status, I will wonder why I spend so much on a stupid round CD. But days where I feel bored/bubbly, I will just look at the collection I have and feel so happy.

My 7/8 weeks of holidays will be pack, thats for sure. Work, SHINee world concert, NPU camp, TCP camp, and more. Hoping to visit some plays/museum. A pity I wont be asking clique out, they will be having their promos and I want them to be promoted to J2 !!!

Ah ha, the differences between guys and girls. But yea, I'm regretting the shit out of me. You know how much I miss doing Literature ?! In Lit, that is the only place where I can pour out all my feelings without being called a bitch. I can write whatever I feel and get good grades for it.

In poly ? Well, let just say Chen Jiaxin Ivy has never appeared in poly, except to some people. I am suppressing myself, struggling to do my assignments/projects and still getting shitty results despite putting in lots of effort. I'm feeling suffocated, oh what is air.

#445 Peirce Family Day 2011

Peirce Family Day Carnival + Transformer with clique+June Leong yesterday. Family day atmosphere wasnt all that high, but nevertheless, I enjoyed myself there. It was the process of talking to friends/teachers that made you happy.

Transformer with clique was good too, but I had never ever watched Transformer so I was a little confused initially. I am not a movie person, so yea, watching movie isnt really my cup of tea, but doing things with friends are *thumbs up*. Next movie we will be watching will probably be Harry Potter ? Harry Potter is a die die also must watch heh.

Uploaded most of the pictures up here since I am feeling hardworking today. I should probably convert my hardworking-ness to studying for my modules instead. Pictures not in order cause blogger messed up my pictures.

Have been getting so many Bs lately, I dont know, I feel like shit. Literally like shit. It is like my writing skills have taken a big dip and I cant seem to find ways to get back up.

All my assignments for Writt Comm, which is by the way, my favourite subject, had been giving me Bs. My writing skill is not exactly fantastic, but it is of a relative okay standard I believe, though my grammers are bad bad bad bad bad.

I just feel so demoralized, seriously. My wish is to get to NUS but right now at the looks of my results, I should just start working once I get my diploma. Well, maybe I sounded a little too negative, but you get what I mean. :/

I need to attend Ms Hong's lessons right now.

The nong nong Comm serv project is finally over. Though there was stressful time, I enjoyed doing Comm Serv project with JunZhe, Joe and Shang Yang a lot. They are a fun bunch of people and I think we did pretty well for presentation. (:

But I think I used up all my effort for Comm Serv project. Aint giving much hoot about Psych, Socio, and especially ITABS. Need to change mindset asap.

Visited Tanjong Pagar Railway Station with Addy and Charles today. It was a super improteu decision to visit the railway station. Saw the photos of the railway station uploaded by Charles yesterday and immediately asked him to take me there today cause it is going to be close down on 30 June 2011.

Had fun taking the shots and it is sad that an old place of Singapore is going to be gone.

Today was supposed to be my chiong-assignments-or-projects-if-not-you-jialat day. Back to work since I'm back home.

Flea was good. Bought 2 pretty little notebooks. Was terribly pissed with the OPI nail polish I bought though. It should cracked but it didnt even crack. Its like horrible disgusting and its still stuck on my nail cause I'm a lazy girl and is too lazy to use a nail polish remover.

And FML seriously. wtf is wrong with my laptop. I need to rush and do my assignent on Microsoft Publisher which is due on Monday and whenever I try to do my work, my laptop hangs like no tomorrow. But when I goes off to social networking websites, it runs so fast like its trying to compete with those super fast laptops. If I can throw away my laptop, I will.

So I'm back from famine camp. Technically, I didnt eat for 34 hours but I'm not complaining. In fact I enjoyed myself a lot at famine camp. My family, Bodi, had a bunch of nice people and I definitely enjoyed my 2D1N with them. Thank you.

Again, I will like to share my feeling in one sentence regarding something. Dont feign to be guilty when you are the reason to why I'm suffering.

Here is f(x) latest single. Its pretty catchy. And I dont get why Luna doesnt get any comments on Youtube unlike the other girls. Guess I'm forever alone; always being so odd. I like things people dont like, and I dislike those over rated one. Forever taking the leftovers.
