#481 Distance
The two of you sit beside each other in a cafe, so near to each other and the two of you are only seperated by a tiny table. However, this was the distance the two of you once had. So near, yet so far. The two of you are unable to reach out to each other anymore. In the short span of time, everything changes. The events that the two of you had went through do not seem to exist anymore. Whatever that happened was a past that did not happen; all that is left is the awkward silence that hovers above the two of you, unwilling to drift off.
You stood up and left. You looked at your coffee, unsure of what to do. Fight back the tears, or throw away your pride. You walked slowly, waiting, waiting for the familar touch. You remain seated. You opened the door of the cafe, and never looked back.
Love, Ivy
